This mod adds a one-way valve, an overflow/relief valve, a high-speed pump, and three rotatable pipe shapes that do not connect on all sides.
The valves and pump are unlocked by researching Fluid handling, the pipes have no research requirement.
New ore: monazite, rarer than copper but not as rare as oil. Bright green in Factorio. Not bright green in real life (proving that, if there is a Creator, he/she/it can be boring sometimes). Two new metals: Thorium and Rare Earth, both obtained by combining monazite ore and sulphuric acid in a chemical plant.
Note: monazite cannot be smelted. Thorium reactor: specifically a liquid fuel thorium reactor. Acts as a boiler by converting liquid thorium fuel (made from thorium metal and water) and normal water to produce boiling water, which can then be used in steam engines. Thorium reactors do not produce any pollution. Rare earth: Advanced Circuits and Processor Units now require 1 rare earth metal plate each.
The thorium reactor, along with the monazite/thorium processing recipes, are unlocked with the Thorium Processing technology, which requires 100 red and green science packs and prior knowledge of Fluid Handling.
Adds underground versions of surface resources; plays nicely with mods that add resources, as well as RSO. Yes, I know this concept has been done already in different mods, but I like to think of mine as a cleaner and more balanced implementation.
Underground resources are accessible only by the underground mining drill, and work like oil in that they lose richness (chance to produce) but eventually reach a minimum value. Underground mining also has a chance to bring up stone instead of the desired resource.
Adds the tech Combustion drilling (and Combustion drilling 2), which unlock the diesel mining drill and the underground (burner) mining drill, respectively. The diesel drill is simply an improved burner mining drill; the underground mining drill allows access to the new underground resources.
I have been working on a small mod that is mostly complete and should answer, to a limited extent, the demand people have for recycling machines: An structure that is destroyed drops (some of) its ingredients, down to and including ore, which will need to be re-smelted (“purified”) to be reused. The mod affects everything that can be crafted, placed, and picked up: crashing cars to test this was pretty fun.
I and my friend Mat5i6 have decided to create our very first mod, which we hope you’ll find at least a bit useful.
This mod brings you a completely new type of wall, an electric wall, which causes a fixed amount of damage on touch. It doesn’t require any energy for now, but the necessity of an energy supply is definitely going to be added in future releases.
During the development, we’ve been trying to find a balance between resources consumed for the purposes of building and the strength or the total effect of the wall. We believe we’ve found it, but we can’t be sure until the whole thing gets into the massive production.
If you have any questions regarding this mod, please, let us know. You can also write a reply in czech language if you want. The more people will like this mod, the more we will work on improving it.
